Deadheading Season

For the most flowers and tidiest garden, deadhead daily. Some gardeners take a few minutes each time to deadhead those plants that need it, make it part of their weekly routine.

Daily deadheading is something you can do if you don't have a gardener.
Keep the watering, give an occasional hosing down to your trees, shrubs, and perennials to eliminate dust and pests.
New planting will need to be well watered.

Your perennials will get leggy or scraggly, well it’s time to consider cutting them back for up to a third or a bit more. They will look neater and fresher to grow or bloom.
It’s time to fertilize any of your acid loving plants and maybe those with iron deficiency. Yellow and dark green leaves are just some signs of iron deficiency.

Some acid plants include: azaleas, gardenias blueberries, and camellias.
And don’t forget that constant water on those plants flushes out nutrients.

Harvesting Vegetals

Keep up with the harvest from that vegetable garden, and make sure you pick small and often. Remove rotting and  diseased produce from garden.
